HISTORY Providence Engineering, located in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, provides structural engineering services to design-build contractors, architects and owners. Providence Engineering was formed in 1992 by Dan Fichtner in an effort to create a company where engineers of all levels could work in an environment where they were free to pursue their profession, without the administrative wrangling often found in larger companies. Dan's guiding philosophy for the company has always been one of "simplicity", where operations are clean, practical and straightforward. Since its inception, PEC has sought to serve its customers by forging strong partnerships with clients, empowering employees to serve clients in the best way possible and ensuring project quality, speed and economy in both design and results. Every engineer at PEC has the authority to respond to client needs - from fielding the first call, to pricing the work, to executing the design and following up on the construction. It is this hands-on, yet simple philosophy that has established PEC in the marketplace and built a strong and thriving business of repeat customers and ongoing referrals.

BELIEFS
In order to achieve this mission, we operate on a set of beliefs and values that serves our clients, our co-workers, and ultimately our corporation. These beliefs are core to our current and long-term success.
