Providence enjoys many trusted relationships with bridge painting contractors nation-wide. In order for them to do what they do, they need to have assemblies that can be attached to the existing structure of bridges and tanks. These enclosure assemblies give the workers a safe platform from which to work and provide for containment protecting the environment from the workers process. Providence can analyze the existing structure for the construction loads, collaborate with the painting sub-contractor concerning the specific means and methods approach that will work best with their process and the existing structure as well as design the final platform and containment assembly.
Providence has two C-3 Certified engineers that are routinely engaged in the more complex aspects of containment design as well as a support staff of PE’s and EIT’s ready to assist as necessary. Additionally, one of Providence’s engineers maintains a commercial pilot’s license with an IFR rating allowing for quick, efficient access to the various bridge locations.
“We regularly turn to Providence Engineering for sound advice and practical solutions for our engineering needs. We have had the privilege to work on many projects together, from several hundred thousand square foot manufacturing facilities to the smallest of repairs, and time and time again Dan Fichtner and colleagues at Providence have proven to be an invaluable and trusted resource for our team.”
