Mr. Starr has experience in the construction industry, working for architectural firms prior to joining Providence Engineering Corporation. He has designed structures consisting of a variety of materials including steel, wood and concrete; including structural design for projects on the west coast.  Ed has contributed to the structural design of commercial, residential and industrial projects; ranging from small structural renovations of historic buildings to the design of structural steel connections and the design of a new, multi-acre, manufacturing facility.

Ed is currently engaged in the process of obtaining his professional license and is planning to sit for the Professional Engineering exam in the fall of 2009.
