Mrs. Berkheimer has spent her career building upon her initial training as a CAD operator. She is proficient in the most recent versions of AutoCAD and Revit, and readily assists in cross-office coordination to help when different office’s need to view, modify, plot and transmit other office’s documents. Her expertise ranges from a firm grasp of PaperSpace/ModelSpace drawing creation, E-Transmissions, Layer Management and Control; and PDF, Tiff, DXF, DWG file management.
Gretchen is in charge of Providence Engineering Corporation’s (PEC) CAD department. She manages the workload, scheduling and quality standards that are essential to the running of the department and the production of PEC’s documents. In addition to traditional drawing creation, the CAD department at PEC also offers the capability to scan drawings to file and quickly create large sets of documents with a state of the art digital copy/scan/plot large format plotter.
Most recently, Gretchen has added
3-Dimensional Building Information Modeling (BIM), using AutoDesk’s Revit, to her resume of drafting capabilities. |
