Mrs. Grunden has structural engineering experience in a variety of structures which include multistory office buildings, manufacturing and industrial facilities, and custom homes. Structural framing systems for these facilities have utilized structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, light gauge metal and wood.  Additionally she has provided design support for crane and truck scale foundations.

Kim’s project experience has extended beyond traditional new construction, into designing connections and to analyzing existing structural systems for renovations and additions.

Kim transitioned into Business Development in March of 2008 to promote Providence Engineering Corporation (PEC). Her engineering background helps her to communicate PEC’s mission and capabilities to the A/E/C marketplace.
