PEC Ownership

Providence Engineering Corporation (PEC) is pleased to announce an addition to the ownership team. Continuing in their mission to serve others, PEC has added David Bernhardt, P.E. as a partner to help ensure that they will carry on their quality of work through successive years.

David will maintain his role as Vice President of Operations. David is in charge of overseeing the daily operations at PEC including personnel, finances, marketing, legal issues, human resources, IT and facilities. He also continues to work as a project manager supporting our ongoing structural engineering design efforts. David is a 1992 graduate of Penn State University having received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis in structural engineering.

President, Daniel Fichtner, P.E., will continue to be the majority owner of PEC. Dan will maintain his role leading PEC’s construction services division while actively participating in projects as a manager and structural engineer. He will also retain the leadership of the company while David transitions into majority ownership.

PEC is a structural engineering firm located in Lancaster. PEC was established in 1992 and serves architects, contractors and owners with structural engineering and Engineer of Record services. PEC’s mission is to provide reliable solutions that are constructible, affordable and timely, resulting in our being the “Engineer of Choice”.
