Providence is pleased to announce that Adam E. Love, P.E., has been officially appointed as a Consulting member of the PCI Building Code and Precast Insulated Wall Panels Committees. Consulting members of the PCI Building Code Committee take changes to ACI and other building codes and how they will impact the Precast Industry. The PCI Building Code Committee is responsible for reviewing the ACI Building Code and Model Codes as to their impact on the Precast Industry. Consulting members of the Precast Insulated Wall Panels Committee guide the provisions and impacts on the Insulated Wall Panel designs and theories. The Precast Insulated Wall Panels Committee is responsible for updating current recommendations for precast sandwich wall panels, with special attention to design recommendations for both cladding and load-bearing panels. With Adam’s experience in the precast industry, he will be an asset to both committees and his contributions will definitely impact how we build the future.
