Congratulations to Heather Sustersic, P.E. for her recent promotion to voting member status on the Structural Members and Reinforcement and Connectors technical sub-committees of The Masonry Society’s 402/602 Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures Committee.

For the past 2 years, Heather served on the Structural Members and the Design technical sub-committees as a corresponding member where she contributed to technical discussions and co-authored ballot items in response to public comments. Now, as a voting member, Heather will deepen her involvement and responsibility in the development of the 2022 edition of TMS 402/602.

Heather’s promotion to voting member status is an impressive achievement among an already impressive career as a researcher, educator and professional engineer. Congratulations Heather!
