Londonderry School
The Londonderry School — a wonderful alternative educational opportunity for more than 200 preschool through eighth-grade students from the greater Harrisburg area.
Our team was chosen to provide structural engineering services for this new, 2-story 30,000 SF elementary school. Incorporating the school’s mission for sustainability, students are included in the daily monitoring and operation of its systems, thereby educating them at an early age of the benefits of sustainable construction. The project consists of steel roof framing and precast concrete plank floors supported by load-bearing Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Walls. Materials with high recycled content were used throughout.
